The camera pans through the darkened woods, revealing a shadowy figure sprinting at inhuman speedβa vampire fleeing for its life. Suddenly, a silver-tipped crossbow bolt pierces the air, striking the creature mid-flight, and it disintegrates into dust. The familiar silhouette of Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) steps into view, reloading his crossbow with steely determination.
