The story centers on Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman), a young woman who begins to experience strange and terrifying occurrences in her life. After a series of unsettling visions, Casey discovers that she is being haunted by a dybbuk, a malicious spirit that wishes to possess her body.
As the supernatural events intensify, she learns that this spirit is connected to her family’s dark past, and that the key to her survival lies in understanding and confronting the evil force that pursues her.
Desperate for answers, Casey seeks help from a rabbi, Rabbi Sendak (Gary Oldman), who is experienced in dealing with dybbuks and other malevolent spirits. Together, they work to uncover the truth behind the curse and find a way to banish the spirit before it can take control of Casey’s life.
